So I have officially entered the last year of my twenties. Or, as my husband likes to remind me, my 30th year :)
While I am a little sad to see my 20s go, I am actually looking forward to my 30s; I'm excited about what the next decade holds. While my 20s offered me more freedom and spontaneity {as much as yours truly can be spontaneous!}, I feel more grounded as a person heading into my 30s. I certainly don't have things figured out, but the Lord has allowed His grace to fill my life in a way that makes me more confident in who I am in Him. I am excited to see what He has to teach me in this next phase of life. I can't wait to see how He grows our little family. And I look forward to continuing to serve alongside Mike in the church. I definitely think the best is yet to come!
I thought it might be fun to create a "30 Before 30" list, a bucket list of sorts. It would be awesome if I could complete everything on my list in the next year, but it won't be the end of the world if I don't {Look at me; already giving myself grace to not complete a list!} Who knows what the Lord has for me. But why not try to check a few things off my "always-wanted-to-do" list {and a few random "why nots?"}, as well as have a little bit of fun in my last year as a 20-something? :)
So here goes nothing...
I even already have one done! {I had #26 on the list when I first decided to do a 30 Before 30, but my sweet husband and family helped us get there faster than I thought! I decided to go ahead and keep it on the list...why not?}
Lookout 30, here I come! :)
If you want to tackle #25 with me, the first class at my studio is free! It's in downtown Plano. They're really welcoming to rookies :)
ReplyDeleteHaha- I might need to do some at-home yoga before I'm ready for public yoga...no matter how welcoming to rookies they are! :)
DeleteI'M ON THE LIST!!!!! :) haha I was reading through it thinking, I want to be a part of these (i.e. roadtrips, canton, etc.) and then I saw my name and I got really excited haha. I also will gladly participate in pedicures, eating whatever you learn to grow and cook... and I even got a new sewing machine for Christmas if you need help with that one. I'm so excited about all of this (maybe more than I should be, since it's not even my list). Happy Birthday sweet friend, I love you!
ReplyDeleteOf course you're on the list! :) And I counted on you helping me work through some of these. We should get to planning ;)
