National Orange Julius Day!

We fed the Alphabet Monster to practice our lower case letters :)

Eli and Maddie had another check-up with the eye doctor. Maddie can stop patching {yay!}, and Eli has made a little progress. Slow and steady, but we're sticking with it, focusing on the long game. So proud of these two!

Little man ended up with another fever {??} and was pretty sad and pathetic for a few days.

My Mothers' Day gift from the kiddos :)  {I love them! But I can't wear them without the kids hugging my feet and "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing over their faces haha}

Fun Weekend with Granny and Grumpz

This past weekend, Granny and Grumpz came to visit! It was a fun weekend, filled with hugs and excitement for having them here!

When they first arrived, the kids wanted to show Granny and Grumpz the neighborhood, so we headed out on a walk.

On Friday, we headed to Manassas National Battlefield Park. We often walk the trails, but this time, we got to see some of the actual battlefield, the canons, and some of the memorial monuments.

Saturday, we headed to Cox Farms to enjoy the Spring & Summer Corner Market. The kids got to run and play on all the play structures, see the animals, and got to enjoy some kettle corn and apple cider donuts! We love that this family-owned farm invites the community to come play, free of charge, and no obligation to purchase anything. Though we end up going home with something every time anyway...Mike even bought a couple of new pepper plants!

It was pretty hot this weekend {90 degrees and 1000% humidity}, but Granny and Grumpz were troopers for our outdoor adventures. But most of the time, we just hung out at home, playing games, reading books, and just having fun having Granny and Grumpz here!

Fun new stuffed dinosaurs from Granny and Grumpz!

Lots of tickles from Grumpz

Learning "Go Fish!"

It was such a sweet weekend, and we are so thankful we had the time with Granny and Grumpz!
