I loved everything about our wedding day, including our ceremony. I loved the venue and the fact that we held the ceremony on the 29th floor with a 5-story window that showcased views of the city.
I loved that we had a string quartet to play the music. (Thank you John Schertz!)
While the rest of the wedding party may not have loved it, I loved the ridiculously long aisle haha.
But most of all, I loved that the room was filled with family and loved ones. The ceremony opened to Butterfly Waltz by Brian Crain for the seating of the families:
The music then switched the Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the entrance of the bridal party...
I got to walk down the aisle with my dad to Canon in D...
Our dear friend Scott Winn performed our ceremony, and it couldn't have been more worship-filled or Christ-centered.
Jon and Sami led the room in a time of worship as we sang In Christ Alone, one of our favorite songs to sing to Jesus...
After a sweet time of praising Jesus, it was then time for the vows. Mike and I decided to use traditional vows, but tweak them a bit to make them a little more personal.
We then were able to spend a quiet moment in prayer and communion. Jason and Sara sang How Deep the Father's Love For Us. Incredibly fitting and they couldn't have sung it more beautifully.
Then we said "I do" and it was official!
:)

I think they all look like runway models! ;)
And we can't forget our adorable flower girls!

This ring I give you in token and pledge

I love that you included the link to the song! I had it playing while I looked at the rest of the photos and it was kind of like seeing everything happen for real, haha. I also like that you included the text of the vows. These posts will make such great memories of all the details :)
