High Five for Friday!

It's a beautiful Friday filled with sunshine!

{one} I have no idea what has been going on with the weather here. It's like it can't decide if it really wants to be spring yet or not. It will be 80, then it will be 40, then it will be 60, then it will be 30. No joke. I might have to endure another round (or two) of colder temps before it stays warm, but I am looking forward to warmer weather over the weekend!

{two} We reached the end of our Pray nine3eight campaign this week. It's crazy to think that we have been intentionally praying for our church plant in McKinney for 100 days already! Of course, the need for prayer doesn't end with the campaign, so we would appreciate if those who participated (or anyone who wants to!) would sign up for semi-monthly updates. We are excited to see what the Lord does over the next few months!

{three} Last night we went to a gender reveal party for some sweet friends! The party was absolutely adorable (a "bee" theme), and we were so excited to celebrate the new life the Lord has provided!

{four} After a night of celebrating the new life the Lord has created, I can't help but be completely horrified at the (limited) details coming out of the Gosnell murder trial. My heart just breaks to think how our society continues to take these innocent lives, heralding "choice" over life. And the fact that the liberal media refuses to provide news coverage is just a reminder of the spiritual battle we are facing.

{five} Tonight we are going to have dinner with our friends Chase and Julie. They were a part of the 20s group at our old church, and I got to serve with them when I visited Nicaragua. I am excited to spend time catching up with them! :)
