{iPhone Rewind} :: December

Extended Stay hotel life: living room/dining room/play room/Aiden's bedroom

Silly boy

Out on a walk, exploring the area

My parents sent a fun new mug and a box of teas! It has been so fun to try all the different teas, and it has been the perfect way to warm up as the weather gets colder.

Maddie reading to her "stuffies"- she remembers the storylines from the books we read, but she has started making up her own fun stories :)

Eli and Maddie had their 4 year check up with our new pediatrician in Virginia, and they got to wear these cute little gowns {and yes, they were definitely open in the back. And yes, we did have to make a trip to the potty down the hall with their rears hanging out in the back haha!}

Aiden got to stay home with Daddy while Eli and Maddie were at that appointment. But he didn't mind at all; he soaked up ALL the Daddy snuggles he could :)

Best of buddies. Sasha looks innocent here, but she pooped crayons for days #sneakingcrayons

Reading with Daddy :)

Speaking of reading...Aiden hit his first 100 books in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge! He loves books, he just doesn't have a long enough attention span to read through all of the same ones as his brother and sister. But we have started! And in true third kid fashion...he gets a handwritten {with crayon} sign and a footnote in an {iPhone Rewind} post. I am keeping track of his books in the app too, but it's the same list as Eli and Maddie, so there is no need to post a duplicate list here.

We got to go play at one of the elder's houses, and the kids got to run wild and free in their backyard :)

"Look, Mommy! I drew our whole family!"

Pretty girl

This old lady went on an adventure: she got out of the hotel room and I lost her for an hour! Thankfully she found her way to the front desk, so we found her safe and sound. But goodness she shouldn't be going on those grand adventures at her age {13...91 in human years!}

Well this is a fun new weather forecast :)

His little hands! He really enjoys listening to classical/instrumental music. He really focuses in on it, asking about all of the different instruments.

Uncle Michael sent us a video of the really big Christmas tree on DBU's campus!

How we found him after nap time

She has been spending nap time in the room with me {because she keeps her brothers awake and tends to get into trouble in her room}. She fights sleep like no other, but still really needs a nap. She spent most of this nap running laps back and forth in the room before she literally just crashed.

Parenting is hard. Toddlers/preschoolers are crazy. Blizzards are amazing. Blizzards in the car all by myself are even more amazing. New Christmas Eve Eve tradition for Mommy? I think so!

Enjoying all of their fun new books!

"Mommy, take a picture of me reading to Aiden!"

When Chick Fil A calls you out...

There's a working farm right around the corner from us! It's a great place to walk the trails and see the animals...and it's free :)

Walking the trails at Frying Pan Park

"Mommy, I love you!"

When you're supposed to be napping, but at least you're talking quietly with each other :)
