Bull Run Festival of Lights

When we were deciding what we wanted to do this Christmas season, we knew that we for sure wanted to go see Christmas lights! We had several people recommend the Bull Run Festival of Lights, and since it's a drive-thru event, it was one of the few things NOT cancelled due to COVID.

It gets dark before 5pm here, so we were able to go early. We packed up in the car, snuggled up with our blankets, and headed for the show!

The lights were so fun! It's 2.5 miles of lights displayed throughout the park, and you drive through to view them all. They usually will have other crafts and food where you can get out and walk around, but of course that part was cancelled this year. It was great just to see the lights, but it will be fun to go back in future years and check out the other holiday festivities! The kids loved the lights, excitedly pointing out all of the fun displays. And they really enjoyed driving under the light tunnels :)

This was a fun Christmas activity, and I think we will be back in the future!
