Celebrating 2 Years

Today we celebrated our 2 year anniversary!

It's hard to believe it has already been 2 years with my love :) I told Mike that it seems like only yesterday when we said "I do" and had an amazing party with our family and friends. But at the same time, it also feels like we have been together forever...in the good kind of way. The kind of way where we just seem to "fit" and have been best of friends for as long as I can remember.

As a sweet blessing, we were both able take off work and spend the whole day together. We started the day off with breakfast at Starbucks and then headed to Dallas for lunch at Klyde Warren Park. We enjoyed lunch at the park food trucks, which was fun!

Sushi on a food truck? Why not :)

We spent the afternoon at the new Perot Museum, which was really fun! It was fairly crowded, even for a Monday, but we still enjoyed exploring the museum.

The museum is certainly a kids' playground, with all kinds of hands-on exhibits. Guess it counts to be a kid at heart ;)

After the museum, we enjoyed a rainy afternoon nap, and then wrapped up the evening with a quiet evening at home, complete with brownie sundaes and a movie. It was a great day, and I am so thankful that we got to spend the whole day together.

Happy Anniversary, Babe! I am so thankful for you and love you more than I did on our wedding day. I look forward to what our next year brings! :)
