CBC Fall Festival

Yesterday, we got to attend our church's Fall Festival! We actually had not planned to be there because we had separate plans. But plans changed, and we were able to go after all. And we had so much fun!

It was extra fun because Daddy didn't have to "work" as much during the festival, so he got to spend more time with us. And we took full advantage of ALL the fall activities: face painting, balloon animals, pumpkin chunking, hay ride, pumpkin painting, and bounce houses. They even had a Sweet Frog food truck, and our kiddos LOVE Sweet Frog frozen yogurt! I didn't get any pictures, but they also had a square dance caller, so I got to square dance with Eli and Aiden, while Maddie danced with Daddy :)

It was a super fun afternoon, and we were thankful to be enjoying all the fall activities with our church family. While it's a fun way to enjoy our church family, it's also a great way for our church members to invite friends and neighbors, a great way for us to open our doors more informally to the community. We are praying that the connections made at the Fall Festival are a good way for some of our visitors to get connected into our church body, whether they are searching for a church home, or have never stepped foot in church.
