Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! He is risen! :)

We enjoyed a sweet Easter celebration at home. I was able to take a break to watch an Easter service online while Aiden napped, and Mike will watch a service this afternoon. With the little people, we read the Easter story again, enjoyed opening fun Easter basket treasures, and had an egg hunt in the house {because hello, rain!}

We Skyped with my parents and brother, which we have been doing every weekend, but this Skype session came with a virtual Easter egg hunt with Grandma and Papa! My parents hid eggs around their house and took their computer around to help the kiddos "look" for them. They had WAY more fun with that egg hunt than the one at home haha. The eggs were Resurrection Eggs, so then we got to sit and hear Grandma walk us through the Easter story with the treasures inside the eggs.

The rain cleared out and we were able to grab a few photos in our Easter outfits. Of course, I had to bribe them with a cookie {and Pooh Bear had to make an appearance} to get some semi-decent photos, but I'll take it :)
