A few months ago, we had the opportunity to take some family photos with Mike's side of the family. We had given the gift of family photos to Granny and Grumpz, and we finally found a time that we could get everyone together!
Unfortunately, the photo shoot was right in the middle of Aiden's nap time, it was a hot and humid day, Maddie doesn't do well in large groups {particularly when multiple people are telling her to "smile!" over and over}, and it just took too long for my toddlers to handle. So while I am very happy that we got one good family of five photo...I am sad that my children are not looking at the camera or are crying in every photo with the rest of the family. Sigh.
Maybe next time...many, many years from now :)
