Tonight we bundled everyone up and loaded the wagon for a ride around the neighborhood to see Christmas lights! Eli and Maddie were pretty excited about wearing their coats and hats, but little did they know that the really fun stuff was coming :)

We went right before sunset, so not all the lights were on during the first part of our walk, but there were still plenty of inflatable Christmas characters and other decorations that still would have made the trip worth it without the lights. At each new inflatable or decoration, Eli and Maddie got SO excited! They loved seeing Santa, snowmen, reindeer, the Grinch, and so many more.

It got darker pretty quick, so we were still able to see plenty of fun Christmas lights. I love that our neighborhood has good participation in decorating for holidays, and it was a fun outing as a family! We're hoping to head the other direction and catch some lights on the other side of our neighborhood too :)
