We are so thankful that Granny got to come visit this past week!
We had been counting down the days until her arrival, and we had such a great week with her. She came right in the middle of our snow days, so it was pretty cold, and we weren't able to go too many places. But she did get to experience the snow with us, and I don't think she minded too much. As long as she had a front row seat to all things grandkid, I think she was just fine ;)
She was able to go to church with us and hear Mike preach, see the kids' swim lesson, and we did manage a lunch out to Chick Fil A and a trip to the Air & Space Museum. But otherwise, our days were filled with snow, reading books, building forts, making fun crafts Granny brought, and playing the "Granny game" {Old Maid card game that the kids wanted to play on repeat}.
Can you spot the poor cold {but still happy and smiling} Granny? ;)
We loved having Granny here, and the kids were so sad when she left. We look forward to seeing her again on the next visit!
