{iPhone Rewind} :: April

These are the days...

Listening to Peter and the Wolf...they have absolutely LOVED the orchestra music/story-telling. Aiden asks every day we do preschool if we can listen to it. Who knew this would be the crowd-pleasing winner?

We love playing outside with neighbor friends!

We got to have some friends over for dinner; such a sweet time of fellowship!

We enjoyed a fun train ride at our church's Spring Festival

We did an Easter egg hunt to find and match our upper and lower case letters...we need some extra practice with our lower case letters, so this was a fun way to get the kids more excited about it!

We were so happy on the warmer days :)

National Grilled Cheese Day!

Mike and I opened another Date Night Box, and we ended up making homemade poptarts, talking about our future goals, and having a little friendly competition {how many M&M's can you eat with chopsticks while blindfolded haha}

We headed into D.C. to help with a cousin's Flat Stanley project!

They really can be so sweet

Cutie girl reading her books

Doing a little planning for kindergarten!

Sweet girl has been working really hard to write her name!

Twin love :)

And then there's Aiden...  haha!

April 28th and it's still in the 30s...

We had to do some shuffling for nap time during our week of Covid quarantine, so everyone was out of routine. Maddie decided she was going to protest nap time and sleep on the floor instead of the couch. Sure kid.

So glad to be out {and running} in the sunshine!

We see a variation of this TP mess almost every day now, courtesy of Aiden. It just makes me laugh because the twins never did this. I had 2 kiddos potty training at the same time, and somehow they managed to leave the toilet paper alone. Not Aiden...

{iPhone Rewind} :: November

We kicked off November with a fun obstacle course! It was a little colder than expected, so we just moved it indoors :)

"Look! I drew Mommy!"

Such a serious {and cute} little pray-er :)

National Nacho Day!

900 {unique} books!

Family Jam Session :)

Shoes of the Gospel of Peace + Shield of Faith

Reading with Daddy

They're just too cute!

Sweet Maddie putting her brothers down for a nap :)

Date Night Box #4: We played a Pictionary version of the Newlyweds Game and did some seed art

It was just a granola bar...how on earth did it get this messy?

The Helmet of Salvation!

Maddie lining up her crayons :)

Mickey & Minnie's Birthday! We played games, ate on Mickey/Minnie plates all day, and used a bunch of themed stickers.

We are so excited to start this new Advent tradition!

Maddie's tall tower!

#life

Making turkey hats with Daddy :)

Our cutie dress up girl

The Sword of the Spirit! We wrapped up our Armor of God study, ready for battle!

Grandma and Papa got Eli and Maddie a Highlights magazine subscription for their birthday, and we got our first one in the mail! They were so excited! I loved this magazine as a kid, and hope they will too :)

{iPhone Rewind} :: October

Serenading us at the breakfast table :)

Stealing some snuggles!

How Aiden watches a movie...

He has been feeling left out in not wearing an eye patch...so he created his own

Nightly Bible story time

When you don't feel well, and your kiddos take care of you by offering all the stuffies :)

Our sunshine girl

Bath time classical music

So glad to see him preaching again #proudwife

Finally finished our 10th year anniversary book! :)

Then and Now...stop growing up so fast!!

Date Night Box #3: Cruise Ship Escape Room challenge + Macaroons {which we cooked a little too long, but still tasted yummy!}

We had to give Pooh Bear a bath {a trip through the wash cycle}, and this little one was all out of sorts. So when Pooh Bear was nice and clean and dry, we had one happy boy again!

Breastplate of Righteousness

Minnie Maddie

A perfect picture of my children's personalities:
Eli: very meticulous and careful, following the lines, following directions
Maddie: refusing to hold her scissors correctly, "Maddie, we're not making sailboats, we're following the lines," she cut her fingers multiple times
Aiden: gets frustrated and throws his scissors, so had to take a break; "Mommy, YOU do it!"

Science! Water absorption and repellant...basically fun with water droppers :)

Bible story before bedtime :)
