This past weekend, I got to watch my brother marry his love. We traveled to Texas to join in the celebration, and it was a busy week of all things wedding!
The kids did great {again} with our early morning flight, and didn't bat an eye with the crazy weather turbulence. It was a rough landing in Dallas with all of the thunderstorms, but we were so thankful that we made it in. So many flights were delayed and even cancelled after ours.
We got to see Grandma and Papa's new house in Little Elm! It's in a quiet area, and we got to enjoy the bunnies in their backyard {just as a quick pause before we were off and running with wedding things!}
Unfortunately it rained all week, so the original plan for an outdoor wedding changed to move indoors. While I know that was a disappointment, it was a blessing that the change happened in time for the rehearsal, so we were able to practice as things would be the day of the wedding. Which was good for my kiddos and their parts in the wedding ;)

Since Maddie was a part of the bridal party, she got invited to go get her nails done with the bride and her bridesmaids {and I was kindly invited to join!} It was fun to spend time with some of Vi's friends, and Maddie was just in heaven with all of the pampering. We then got to go grab lunch at Salata with Grandma, which was another fun and special treat!

Not pictured are all of the errands and logistics and napkin ironing...all the last minute things leading up to the wedding day! :)
