We weren't able to attend any official Independence Day celebrations this year {though we now know we are within walking distance of a FANTASTIC fireworks display!}, but we still spent the July 4th weekend doing a lot of fun red/white/blue-themed projects! We painted some fireworks, played with glow sticks in the bath tub, and made some star cookies. And of course, there were plenty of flags and patriotic necklaces to round out the fun :)
Granny sent some fun patriotic things in the mail, so we were able to color a fun July 4th poster and play with patriotic stickers {thanks Granny!}
We are so grateful for the freedoms we experience in this country. Happy Birthday, America!
